Air Travel

The major aiport serving the Phoenix area is Phoenix Skyharbor International Airport (PHX), which is only about 10 miles from Scottsdale.

Local Transportation

There are a number of options for getting from the airport to the workshop hotel:

• The Chaparral Suites Resort provides a free courtesy shuttle to/from the airport. There is a courtesy telephone center adjacent to the baggage claim areas in each terminal
  
  
• Super Shuttle operates out of Skyharbor and will take you to the hotel for about $20 (one way).
  
  
• Taxis are also available and will cost about $30 (one way).
  
  
• Car rentals are available at the airport, however, the rental facility is located away from the terminal and additional taxes/fees may be assessed
• The Chaparral Suites Resort offers car rentals from the front desk, avoiding some inconvenience and taxes involved with renting from the airport.
• Parking is complimentary at the workshop venue. However, many other locations in Scottsdale and surrounding areas charge for parking, and as in any urban environmnet, finding a place to park can be somewhat competitive.
